The Sweeping Waters of Aquarius

In these turbulent times, when the waters of Aquarius sweep away all tradition and moral foundations, when we feel the ground beneath our feet crumbling before the torrent of new and unsettling ideas, we feel like drowning sailors.

Our hands try to cling to anything floating nearby, anything that will hold us up without drowning us. However, nothing remains steady; everything shatters, and our desperate hands slip again, searching for new support.

A wise man once said that the difference between a drifting log and a boat is that the boat has oars. Its own oars to guide it, its own rudder to propel it. Nothing external can help in the midst of a storm; only within ourselves can we find our salvation.

That is why, today more than ever, philosophy, the love of wisdom, is an inexhaustible source for learning to row on the river of life. And only our inner axis, our inner pillar of light, can anchor our ship when the storm rages.

For nations, as for individuals, there is a pillar of light: their spirit, their traditions, which cannot be reduced or confined to a single vision, but must be universal. For this reason, Egypt must find itself in the universal and discover its own wisdom, for it is abundant and sufficient, because it is universal, because it is complete: Western and Eastern, Southern and Northern, ancient and modern, Islamic and Christian, for Egypt is the Eternal Central Land.

Let the fanatics of the world fight each other, lighting their small candles of dim light in their caves, illuminating only themselves. Do not believe those who speak of a new global order, for there is only one order, and it is neither new nor old, neither of the present nor of the past, but the divine order, the natural order. Light your inner light, not for yourselves, but for everyone, and you will discover that even a small flame, like a star, can be seen from afar in the darkness. And when we unite our lights, heart to heart, a greater light will illuminate us, filling the whole world with Will, Love, and Wisdom.
